Weathered Elements was built for a client who wanted something different. The goal was a one of a kind layout, with a mix of materials used in unconventional ways, all while making the finished space feel established and timeless.
A raised sitting area became a key feature, built from thermally modified ash and left untreated so it can naturally weather into a rustic, aged look. Formed concrete planters paired with Corten steel garden edging add contrast and texture, helping the landscape feel like it has been there for years rather than brand new.

Even the pool fence was treated as part of the design, not just a safety requirement. Cedar posts, a steel top rail, and steel mesh were brought together to match the style of the property and create an enclosure that feels intentional. The result is a backyard that feels complete, cohesive, and full of character, with every detail contributing to the overall look.
